Katrina is an enthusiastic and driven dietitian who was inspired by food and nutrition from a young age. She believes that whole, natural foods should be one of the cornerstones of a balanced, healthy lifestyle that can be enjoyed by all - no matter what walk of life.

Throughout her clinical experience in small and large hospitals, Katrina came to appreciate the role specific nutrition recommendations have in the prevention, treatment and recovery of various acute and chronic diseases. She has encouraged young children & families to adopt healthy eating practices through her role as a Go4Fun leader and also participated in a malnutrition screening and prevention program for an aged care facility in Broken Hill.

Katrina has and continues to lead an ever evolving active lifestyle. She spent many years in dancing studios and has completed her Level 1 Advanced Diploma in the Cecchetti Ballet method. She also enjoys swimming, resistance training, pilates, yoga and walking in the great outdoors. Katrina's background means she is also very interested in Sports Nutrition. She has worked with St George Netball society, swimming centres, boxers, marathon runners as well as many dancers. Katrina is another keen presenter always ready to educate and bust nutrition misconceptions!

One of Katrina's interests lies in the psychology around food. She helps clients take a step back, look at their lifestyles and focus on how/why/when they choose the foods they do.

Katrina actively engages in social media, often posting topical blog articles, recipes and tantalising meals she has spent time creating in the kitchen. She has hence developed numerous recipes and written articles for print and online magazines and has been interviewed for various newspaper articles.
