Dr Isabella Sukkar received her medical degree from the University of Sydney in 2016 and worked at Wollongong Hospital for three years before beginning her General Practice training. This included a year as a senior resident medical officer working in paediatrics and obstetrics/gynaecology, which sparked a passion for women’s health, children’s health, and pregnancy care.
She loves the diversity of general practice and building long term relationships with a variety of patients. She has loved working in a variety of rural areas including Dubbo, Alice Springs, Far North Queensland and Jindabyne.
Prior to studying medicine, Dr Bella graduated from an arts degree with honours majoring in English Literature. In her spare time, she loves gardening, cooking, playing music, and practicing yoga and meditation.
